Justin Dwyer: Artist
B.A. (Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University)
Justin Dwyer is a globally recognised, multi-award-winning digital artist. He is co-creative director and artist with the art-technology duo PluginHUMAN. Justin specialises in media art installations, real-time projection mapping (TouchDesigner), electronic music (AbletonLive), and he reimagines new hardware technologies. He has exhibited internationally – Asia, North America, Australia.
Justin was top 5 at the international Lumen Prize (2015), and his audio collaborations have led to 3 ARIA Award nominations (Australia’s premier music awards). Justin was artist-in-residence at the Exertion Games Lab, RMIT University (2018-19); and was artist-in-residence at the Asia Culture Centre (South Korea 2017).
Justin has created media art installations for the Banff Centre (Canada, 2015), Dork Bot (USA), the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (Taiwan, 2018), C-Lab (Taiwan 2019) and the Asia Culture Centre (South Korea, 2016 & 2017). Justin’s CV is available on LinkedIn.
