Inter-Dream audiences wear EEG and VR headsets. The audience member’s brainwaves control the sights, sounds and aromas in an immersive gallery space. Inter-Dream places the human body at the centre of a digital experience.
Inter-Dream investigates human-computer integration. It uses the human body as the central interface. We create a feedback loop between the human body and machines, forming a cycle of information that is shaped by a collusion between active human brainwaves and real-time generative art. Experience your dreams come alive. Walk in the dreams of others. DREAM 2.2 is an interactive installation where audiences use their brainwaves to control immersive audio-visuals .
We use EEG (electroencephalogram) headsets to track the electrical activity of the brain and generate audio that in turn generates audio-reactive visuals. The audio and visuals respond to different types of brain activity. Brainwaves trigger abstract real-time audio-visual art. The visuals are projection mapped onto maze-like projection surfaces in the exhibition space. Link to more details.
